ABOUT
Sound of Your Name, the debut EP by One Minute Apart, out now.
Sarah and Sophia Fisher are fifteen-year-old twin sisters from Portland, OR. At age five, the twins began classical violin training and have added guitar, piano, synth, and voice in the years following. They have collaborated with professional musicians for televised audiences, shows, and events, led worship with thousands, and performed at their self-produced gigs. In 2020, Sarah and Sophia self-released five songs on Spotify. The songs were self-written, performed, and recorded as thirteen-year-olds and co-produced with Norwegian Pop Producer Tropez.
During the Summer of 2020, they met up with songwriters/producers/worship leaders Matthew Zigenis and Sam Pinkerton of Bridgetown Church in Portland, Oregon. The team worked together to write and record One Minute Apart's first EP, Sound of Your Name. This collection of songs showcases the girls' songwriting, musicianship, producing abilities, and their love for the Lord, as it shines through each lyric of the EP.
Currently in the 9th grade at Westside Christian High School, the sisters lead and play on their school's worship team. They also serve as worship leaders at Bridgetown Church for Sunday gatherings, their youth group and lead as guest worship leaders in the church community. When they aren't snowboarding, wakeboarding, or traveling with their parents, the girls are co-writing with other artists and self-producing demos in their home studio. They are passionate about music, and leading today's youth to know the love and joy of Jesus.
